Decommissioning
Data Center Decommissioning and Asset Removal
Deracking, cable removal, asset capture, and packout with every unit reconciled against your records before we hand the space back.
Overview
Decommissioning is an accounting exercise that happens to involve heavy lifting. The hardware coming out is straightforward. What matters is the record: which serials left, on what date, on whose truck, to which destination, because that's what you'll be asked for when someone reconciles the asset register or asks about a device that held data.

We capture every unit on the way out and reconcile the list against your records before we leave. Cages are handed back in the condition your colo agreement requires, so you're not paying rent on space that hasn't been accepted.
