Fiber Splicing and Testing
Fiber Optic Splicing, Termination, and Certification
Fusion splicing, connector termination, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 testing for single-mode and multimode plant, with results documented and handed over.
Overview
Fiber either meets the loss budget or it doesn't, and the only way to know is to test it and show the numbers. We splice, terminate, and certify, then hand you the trace files, not a verbal assurance that it looked fine.

Work covers new runs, cross-connects, and emergency repair on damaged plant. Every connector is inspected and cleaned under a scope before it mates, because contamination causes more link failures than bad splices do.
What's included
Fusion splicing, single-mode (OS2) and multimode (OM3/OM4/OM5)
Ribbon and mass fusion splicing for high-count cable
Pigtail splicing into fiber enclosures and splice trays
Field connector termination
Splice case and enclosure installation and re-entry
Cross-connects and meet-me room fiber
Break-fix and emergency restoration on damaged plant
End-face inspection and cleaning to IEC 61300-3-35 before every mate
Tier 1 certification - insertion loss testing against the design loss budget
Tier 2 certification - OTDR traces, bidirectional where the link warrants it
What you receive
Deliverable
Insertion loss results per link, tested against a stated loss budget
Deliverable
OTDR traces in native format plus a readable PDF summary
Deliverable
End-face inspection records where required
Deliverable
A splice schedule showing fiber assignments and tray positions
Engage us when
New fiber has to pass certification before it goes into service
A cross-connect needs building between cages or into the meet-me room
A link is degraded or dark and you need it located and repaired
You've inherited plant with no test records and need a baseline
