Safety Manager
Location: Northern Virginia
Build and run the safety program across every job site: training, inspections, incident response, and the documentation that clears general contractor prequalification. Direct authority to stop work.
Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enforce the company safety program and written policies

Conduct site inspections and audits, and track corrective actions to closure

Write and review job hazard analyses for each project scope

Deliver orientation, toolbox talks, and recurring training

Maintain training records, certifications, and equipment inspection logs

Investigate incidents and near misses, and issue root cause findings

Manage OSHA recordkeeping and regulatory reporting

Complete safety sections of GC prequalification and client onboarding packages

Oversee subcontractor safety compliance on our sites
Requirements
-
5+ years in construction or field services safety management
-
OSHA 510 and 500, or equivalent
-
Working knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 as they apply to our scopes

Incident investigation and root cause analysis experience

Willing to travel to active job sites, including nights and weekends
Preferred
-
CHST, CSP, or ASP certification
-
Experience in data center or mission-critical construction environments
-
Familiarity with contractor prequalification platforms such as ISNetworld and Avetta
-
First aid and CPR instructor certification
